National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports and services help people with disability have the same things in life as other people, like somewhere to live, a job, hobbies and the company of families and friends.
To be eligible for NDIS you must:
- Be under the age of 65.
- Have a permanent and significant disability that impacts your ability to perform everyday activities.
- Likely to need support for the whole of your life.
An assessment by the NDIA will determine your eligibility for NDIS services.

Halo is a registered NDIS provider and we can support you with your NDIS plan regardless if you are:
- NDIS Plan Managed
- Self Managed
- Third Party Managed (Plan Managed)
Halo provides a range of services under the NDIS Program including:
- to live in your own home and participate in the community
- to learn new skills, such as budgeting, shopping and using public transport
- to find some volunteer work and undertake training or further studies
- in your home, staff can help you with personal care, cleaning and gardening
- participate in recreational or sporting activities
- support with medications
- we offer a variety of group and club programs
- mentoring and friendship programs
- trips away with a support person
- if your carer needs a break, we can provide support in the home or out in the community
Social Clubs and Groups
Halo also facilitates a number of groups, fortnightly on Friday and Saturday evenings, for individuals that would like to get together and collaborate.
These groups are made up of young men and women of similar interests who enjoy spending time together.
