The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government and supports volunteer visits to provide support and companionship to older people.

To be eligible for ACVVS you must:

• Be in receipt of government subsided Home Care Package or Residential Aged Care, including those who have approval or are on the National Priority System for residential or Home Care Package.
• Be socially isolated.

The ACVVS is a free service that aims to provide friendship and companionship to older people and help develop their social connections.
